Are You Living Out Your Faith? Letting Your Light Shine

I just never would have guessed you were a Christian.”

Those words hit me like a punch to the gut. They weren’t said with malice, but they cut just the same. What did that say about me? About the way I was living?

Have you ever had a moment like that—when someone’s words made you pause and ask yourself, Am I really letting my light shine? Are my actions pointing others to Christ, or have I let the world dim the light God placed inside me?

Dionna Lee - Outnumbered by chaos

Hello There!

I'm Dionna Lee - Widow & mama to three crazy kids and three fir-babies.

From one chaos-surrounded mama to another, I see you!

For years, I pulled my hair out trying to figure it out - I always wondered why I couldn't "get it together" like the other moms - until I realized I was missing something.

Add in the past few years of loss and chaos, my head nearly spun off my body.

That's when it finally clicked! I found the missing link to ending the overwhelm and chaos, and the answer to finally having the peace I had been desperately searching for.

Hint: It' Jesus!

✨No gate-keeping here 😘

Now, if you're in a place where you feel like pulling your hair out daily, I'm here to assure you - you're not alone. Peace IS possible.

Come along as we create the peaceful life we've both been looking for!

While having the most fun possible - of course 😉

💖helping grieving Christian moms navigate grief and loss, while learning to love life

I used to count the days since I had last seen Ben I used to count the days since I had last seen Ben. Then they became too many to count.
So I started counting the months, and then the years.
Losing him, my brother, and my Debbie all within such a short period of time given me such deep heartache, but also understanding.

Life is short.

We stress so much about things that don’t matter in the end. Possessions, careers, chores.

But what matters most is this:

Love the Lord your God will all your heart, mind and soul; and love your neighbor as yourself.

Forgive when wronged and ask forgiveness when you are in the wrong.

Laugh as loud as you can.
Dance. Sing.
Live.

Grief has a tendency to weigh us down and make us not want to live.
But there’s still so much time left (even if just days, weeks, months, or decades) to live and love with our whole hearts.

And then, we’ll see them again. I, for one, would love to tell them of the beautiful adventures I’ve had and the people I’ve loved - not just walk in and say “I stopped living because you did.”
That’s not what they would want from us, and not what Jesus wants FOR us.

So today, I choose life.

I choose joy.

And, I choose love.

It’s been an amazing journey, love you son!!
There are times where we feel like we’re toiling i There are times where we feel like we’re toiling in vain.

We planted and day after day we water, feed, and till the ground. But it feels like it never changes.

You save a dollar here and a dollar there, and think it’s insignificant. But I promise you, it’s not.

Everything you do matters.

If you’re sitting on a bed of discouragement today, I’m just here to remind you to keep going.

Don’t sink deeper into the feelings that it’ll never get better.

It will.

One day you’re going to look up from the ground you’ve been tilling and see a beautiful, extravagant, gigantic tree that is healthy and flourishing because of how you nurtured it as a seedling.

No matter what you’re going through, it’ll be ok.
